In Brief: The Beast is Back

The recent ending of August (and thus summer, for many of us) does bring with it one VERY good thing – the autumn beer menu. Award-winning Pumpkin Ales, Oktoberfests, and maybe most notably, The Beast. Brewed by Boulder’s Avery Brewing Co., The Beast–a super-hopped, almost syurpy-sweet ale, which boasts a whopping 15% ABV–may be a friend of your taste buds, but certainly not of your wallet: a single 12-once bottles costs $8 (no, that’s not a misprint).
