Beer Can Patio Furniture, Circa 1936

There was a great photo posted on boingboing earlier today that I couldn’t help but repost here. According to the source, the image is of a beer can table and chairs made from 420 soldered-together tin cans, created by Bernard Dier of Chicago. The image originally appeared in the August 1936 issue of Science and Mechanics magazine and the cans are from none other than the Pabst brewery!
